  1. Todays values are very different from other values of different generations. Generations past valued the persons ability to farm the land. Before farming a persons ability to hunt was well valued. Today the value of brains and money are well valued. Throughout the human race few values like honesty, tradition, and honor have always and will always be as important as the values that change.

  6. The world is a much different place today than it was in the past. There are many new laws and ways of life that we are accustomed to that our grandparents would not be able to relate to. Our ways of doing things even as simple as the way we dress are different than they were in the past. We are not required to dress up for school or to wear a uniform. We have less restrictions on what we can and can't do. We are more fortunate than the generations before us.

  8. The values between todays generations and past genereations are greatly different. They are unimaginably different due to many different different things. Some examples are worth ethics and life styles. In the past generations, EVERYBODY was very hard working and worked hard for their money and everything that they needed. Today, we are, hate to say it, but very lazy for what we should be. I know that there aren't many jobs, but I think that if everyone looked for a job, or did some kind of work, the United States wouldn't have such a bad repitition. Also in the past, the life styles were must different. In todays society, social life and relaxing have over taken hard work and getting stuff done. The party life was around back in the day, but nothing like it is today!

  9. Thruout time the general populations values have changed. In the past people valued working on there farms and making a profit, many of them did'nt value an education. Now days the majority value getting an education and going to there jobs. To sum that up people living in 2011 are all about money, politics and the nonesentials. Back in the old days they were all about the hard work and would work long hours to accomplish what they wanted, they wouldnt find ways to get things done faster and cheaper like how we do in this generation.

  11. In previous generations a lot of their values were a little different but not totally different. One of their values that a lot of our generation doesn't value is tradition. Past generations used to respect the elderly and our generation has a lot of people that don't do that. With the values of past generations people were more respectful of others but that isn't a value for our generation. Our generation is a lot about money and will do anything to get some money.

  12. Today's generations values differ very much from the past. Today people value money, technology, and cars. People in the past valued things like horses, cattle, and land. Back then people had no idea about all the other things in this world, and the technology that was to come. People in present take to many things for granted when it comes to getting food and research.

  13. Today's generation seems to be less taking of the people around them. Though with social networking, they know more about random people. People are extremely more impersonal than ever before because technology has created a space between people; an its only probably going to get worse.

While past generation have been more concerned with interpersonal relationships and family. Our values are the way they are because of technology being a major part of our everyday life. Things are different than the past but it the way things are and it won't change.

  16. Today's values are very different from the past generations. Values from the past generations included just having a good time and living life as it is.People didn't care about all the fancy things like we do today. To go out and have a good time people just went out and spent the day with the family and today its all about spending money. People seem to just care about money today and just try to one up each other. Lastly people seem to just be all around lazy today and the previous generations worked harder for what they had.

  18. I think that past generations overall had better values or more belief in those values than we have today. Genereations before ours very much valued hard work their way of living, I believe, was more productive. They also valued spending time in nature and living a simpler life than us. I think nature should be involed in more of our lives and it would teach us peace of mind. Also generations before us valued family and spending time with their family much more than we do. I think communities were stronger years ago because of the family values and this helps bring people together. I think that if i could live in a past generation I would.

  19. Values of genrations change often. Past generations valued their land and their property very much, because that is all they had at the time. Todays generation values electronics and money. For some reason people do not value the things that they have. Past and present generations both have a value of family it seems to me. That is one good value that seems to keep getting passed down from one generation to another.
